Sometimes you just know right from the start when you will just click with a client. With Gina and her Mom, Linda, it was one of those times. I sincerely appreciate that they let me go with my imagination and ideas on this one. First, it was in some of my favorite colors- corals, pinks, and ivory, with a little yellow added in. Second, Gina loves lace and ribbons. Me too! So I got to play with pretty colors, ribbons and lace, and a beautiful selection of flowers.
Next, she really wanted a swirled petal aisle to walk down. I said okay, a little scared of the task. I put my daughter and friend Tricia on it, and after a brief description and outlining with some string- it was perfect.
I had an excellent helper in the studio most of the month- my dear sister-friend Maggie. She got to learn lots of new things and was an excellent student:
Not to mention Maggie made sure I ate and drank plenty of water, kept the studio tidy, and then she came back to my house and cleaned up the day's mess while I was at the wedding! Now that is a friend.
